Mascara
Mascara completes your eye makeup and makes you ready for that gorgeous look.
Mascara adds volume and length to the lashes and makes
your eyes appear brighter and more beautiful.
There are two types of Mascara
- waterproof and regular. Regular mascara is easier to
remove at the end of the day, but to remove waterproof
mascara you need a really good eye makeup remover.
Steps to apply mascara:
1. Curl your lashes with an eyelash
curler.
2. For your upper lashes, wiggle
the mascara wand back and forth at the base of your lashes
and then roll the brush through your lashes. This will
coat the lashes from the very base to the tips. This method
creates a thicker looking lash with the ends separated
and the base defined.
3. For lower lashes, be extremely
careful as to avoid smudging as this can cause a dark undereye
circle. If you wish to apply to your lower lash, hold the
wand vertically and run through your lashes side to side.
4. Remove any mascara that may
have fallen with a cotton bud.
Tip: To get more product on the
mascara brush, try twirling the brush. Never pump the mascara
brush into the tube as this will push air into it and introduce
bacteria to your mascara.
