Self Esteem – The First Step to reaching our full potential
What is Self Esteem?
Self Esteem was not taught as a topic
in school when I was growing up, so for me it was a vague concept
for many years. Self Esteem simply put is our self-worth or
the value we place on ourselves. People with high self esteem
think well of themselves while people with low self esteem
view themselves as inadequate or of low value when they compare
themselves to other people.
So how do we improve our self esteem?
Many books explain what self esteem is but few explain clearly
how to improve and grow your self esteem. Here are 7 surefire
ways to help you reach your potential:
1)Make a list of your accomplishments and
qualities and refer to them frequently.
2)Set short term and long term goals and act on them everyday.
Take small determined steps and keep moving forward.
3)Make the most of your physical appearance. If you look good,
you tend to feel good. Taking care of you is not vain, phony
or selfish. You are worth it.
4)Do not compare your self to others. Be the best version
of you.
5)Notice your self talk (The little man in your head!) and
make a determined effort that you keep it positive.
6)Read books and listen to audio programs on self improvement.

Moran.

free.
