Reaching Your Goals with Storyboarding
It has been proven by many studies that
it helps to have an action plan to keep you on track to reach
your goals.
"Storyboarding" is
a technique used by movie directors to sketch out a plot line,
frame by frame, before they start filming. In a similar way,
you can make a blueprint for success by breaking your goal
down into parts.
Get Creative – collect pictures of what
motivates you
*Goals: Visualize the end result – What
will you look like, feel and be doing
*Motivation Articles
*Strategies/ Lists
*Treats for when you achieve specific
targets
Set aside time to update and fill in your
storyboard each week.
Say you've given yourself two months to
lose 10 pounds, you want to run a marathon in 12 months or
you are starting your own business . Make a chart of the timeline
and build it up, week by week, with details of strategies,
tips, idea’s and so forth—anything that helps make your goal
concrete and achievable.
The centerpiece of the storyboard should
be a Weight Loss Graph, Timeline and/or milestones.
“you can make a blueprint for success
by breaking your goal down into parts.”
It is important to post the story board
in a place where you will see it on a daily basis and watch
day by day as you reach your dreams.
