Fashion Update: Spring Summer 2007

IN JANUARY we had our Image Insights Night focusing on latest trends for Spring/Summer 2007. For those of missed it, here are the highlights:

COLOURS IN FASHION

Citrus pastels, pink, sky blue, lime green, yellow

VOLUME

Not the easiest trend to carry off! Wear volume on either your top or bottom and keep the rest of your item sleek.

NAUTICAL

A fresh fun and beautiful look for those of you that are "Summer" seasons.

METALLICS

Remember to wear gold if you're warm colouring and silver if you're cool colouring. A bag or shoes is the quickest way to wear this trend.

MAKE-UP

As you would have read by now, metallics are huge. You can add metallic to your eye make-up by adding a shimmer to your eyelid or just underneath your browbone. Keep lashes dark, and lips should be glossy. Remember to concentrate the colour on either your eyes or lips, not both!

SHORTS/PEDAL PUSHERS

Dress them up with a camisole, wedges and clutch bag

URBAN SAFARI

An easy look for most people to carry off. This look achieved with tan & neutral shades.

BAGS & SHOES

Keep to metallics, neutrals and citric colours.
